Comprehensive overview of concepts and theories of measurement. Detailed study of quantitative research methods including experimental, observational and descriptive research designs. Emphasis on methodological qualities of designs and appropriateness of designs to answer research questions related to diagnosis, prognosis and interventions in physical therapy. Experiential application of the scientific writing process and detailed comparison of different methods of dissemination.
