MTH 121 with a grade of C (2.0) or better or concurrent election of.MTH 121. (3).

Introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics with emphasis on engineering decision-making. Analysis of quantitative data; use and interpretation of statistics including variance, standard scores, t-tests, correlation, ANOVA; probability, conditioning, discrete and continuous distributions. Application of statistics in SPC, SQC and Six Sigma to improve engineering design and product quality.
