Grades of C+ (2.3) or better in NUR 250, NUR 308 or NUR 316, NUR 346. (6-8)

Focus on holistic nursing care of adults experiencing acute and chronic illnesses, with integration of developmental stages, genetics, and family, racial-ethnic and cultural variables. Knowledge from basic and clinical sciences, evidence-based research, informatics and technological advances, and other relevant sources, including the patient and family, is applied to develop and evaluate safety and effectiveness of nursing interventions. Students learn to critically assess patients within complex contexts, implement appropriate therapies to restore, maintain or promote health, and provide care at the end of life.
