Apply knowledge and skills learned in NUR 520 (theory course) to perform culturally and developmentally sensitive comprehensive health assessments across the lifespan under the direction of a preceptor in primary care and other settings. Seminar component allows students to synthesize knowledge, using a variety of teaching strategies. Students use health promotion and disease management theory to assess clients, and use critical thinking to formulate differential diagnoses. Graded ABCDE/Y
