PSY 360 - Internship in Psychology


At least junior standing and 12 credits in psychology, including advanced applied or methodology courses in the student’s area of interest and a psychology GPA of 3.0 or better; consent of instructor via approval form specifying agency, supervisor and instructor.

In collaboration with community partners, students gain applied experience in psychology and related fields. Students secure internships in community organizations, attend class meetings, and observe and assist community partners in various capacities. Internships and assigned duties vary based on academic preparation and occupational interests and goals. Student activities are supervised by agency personnel and university faculty. May be reelected to a total of 6 credits. Graded Pass/Fail
