MUS 540 - Music Theatre Literature

The course will cover the American musical theatre tradition. Students will examine the historical development of this genre and selected musical theatre artists who have shape the tradition. The class will consist of presentations, literature research,demonstrations and, as appropriate, group performances of selected works. May be reelected to a total of 6 credits.
