Principles of therapeutic relationships and group dynamics examined in terms of somatopsychology: the reaction of patients, therapists, family, and society to physical challenges and cultural issues. Students learn and demonstrate therapeutic use of self (personality, insights, perceptions, and judgments) as part of the therapeutic process for both individual and group interactions, as well as group dynamic process models and frames of reference guiding occupational therapy intervention for groups of individuals with various disabilities and of different ages and cultures.
