NUR 219; NUR 202, NUR 240 with grades of C+ (2.3) or better; concurrent election of both NUR 331, NUR 340. (2)

Focuses on additional skills for patient care, addressing essential techniques and concepts required for successful nursing practice. Students engage in interactive lab sessions integrating principles from The Essentials: Core Competencies for Professional Nursing Education. Students engage in hands-on activities in the clinical and simulation center setting to ensure the development of these competencies. May be reelected to a total of 6 credits. Graded Pass/Fail
