Biophysical principles of ionizing radiation and its effects on living tissue, with emphasis on radiosensitivity and response to radiation; review of cell biology. Investigation of hyperthermia as a treatment modality, including cellular response to heat, methods of heating, and interactions of heat and radiation. Graded ABCDE
