MTH 363 - Games and Game Theory

A grade of C (2.0) or better in MTH 122 or MTH 230. (4)

Analysis of both combinatorial and sociological games. Topics include Nim and Nim-like games, Hex, the Sprague-Grundy Theorem, zero-sum games, the prisoner’s dilemma, Nash equilibria, linear programming. Individual projects allow students to investigate games of their own choice. Graded ABCDE
