Synthesis of public health and nursing sciences, with focus on maintaining optimal levels of health and wellness among individuals, families, groups and aggregates in community settings. With an emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion among population groups, students are introduced to epidemiology principles and practices, including applied experiential learning experiences in their community. Graded ABCDE
