Advanced work in the gathering, synthesis, organization, and production of news media across multiple platforms with emphasis on editing and publishing. Students develop greater proficiency with current professional tools and engage in more specialized editorial efforts, including fact-checking and proofreading, style adherence and improvement, budget and content planning, policy development and execution, and management and support of writing staff.
