Linguistics courses are offered for students interested in some aspect of language study and its relationship to other disciplines. Students of anthropology, education, English, foreign languages, philosophy and psychology find particular value in the study of linguistics.
Programs in Linguistics
A Minor in Linguistics is available. A Concentration Program in English Program with a Specialization in Linguistics (BA) is available through the English Department . Concentration Programs in French and Linguistics and Spanish and Linguistics are available through the Department of Foreign Languages .
