Major in Management

Objectives. The Management major prepares students for professional careers in the administration and management of work forces in all types of organizations. The curriculum emphasizes leadership and team skills. The major also gives the students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in specific tracks of entrepreneurship and operations management.

Management faculty members are also available to consult with students wishing to pursue careers in any of the afore-mentioned areas.

Requirements. In addition to the requirements for the BBA degree , at least 18 additional credits as follows:

  1. Core courses (9 credits).
    BUS 347 , BUS 449 ; one from:  BUS 359 , BUS 394 , BUS 442 , BUS 443 .
  2. Track option (9 credits).  One of the following: 
    Entrepreneurship.  BUS 340 , BUS 349 , BUS 440 .
    Operations Management. BUS 316  or BUS 373 , BUS 472 , BUS 473 .
