Requirements.

1. Music Theory (16 credits).
   MUS 141 , MUS 142 , MUS 143 , MUS 144 , MUS 241 , MUS 242 . MUS 243  strongly recommended.
2. Music History (9 credits). 
   MUS 261 , MUS 262 , MUS 361 .
3. Performance (19 credits).
   1. Applied music (12 credits). MUS 151 , MUS 152 , MUS 251 , MUS 252 , MUS 351 , MUS 352 . Attendance in performance class is required.
   2. Performance ensembles (7 credits). 
      Students enrolled in Applied Music must enroll concurrently in an ensemble corresponding to the Applied Music section, either MUS 201 /MUS 401   (Wind Symphony) or MUS 210 /MUS 410  (Chorale). Participation in other ensembles (Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Singers, etc.) is encouraged.
4. All requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Bachelor of Arts  degree, including general education requirements  and BA distribution requirements.
