Musical Theatre Minor

Interested students must identify themselves to departmental advisors in both Theatre/Dance and Music.

Requirements. At least 28 credits as follows:

1. Music Theatre Core (12 credits). 
   THE 114 /MUS 114 , THE 240 /MUS 240 , THE 334 /MUS 334  (may be repeated). THE 337 /MUS 337  (may be repeated).
2. Music (6 credits).
   MUS 151 , MUS 210 /MUS 410  (taken concurrently); MUS 152 ,  MUS 210 /MUS 410  (taken concurrently).
3. Theatre (6 credits).
   THE 230 , THE 339 .
4. Dance (4 credits).
   DAN 120 ; three credits from: DAN 116 , DAN 117 , DAN 121 , DAN 130 , DAN 131 ,DAN 140 , DAN 141 .
5. Performance (0-3 credits).
   THE 123 .

Students enrolled in the Musical Theatre minor are expected to participate in appropriate performance activities of the Music, Theatre and Dance Programs. Credit is available.
