Public Administration Program information
Prerequisites. A course in each: American political institutions, introductory microeconomics, and statistics. Introductory coursework in accounting is strongly recommended and is mandatory for those whose interest lies in the area of budgeting and finance. Students must take the prerequisites before electing upper division courses in the concentration.
Requirements.
- All requirements of the General Program in Public Administration General Program (BA) , to include SOC 210 .
- HON 393 , normally taken in the junior year.
- HON 495 or PUB 495 , HON 496 or PUB 496 (4 each). Credit and grade for PUB 495 is not given until completion of PUB 496 .
- All requirements of the University Honors Program .
Prospective Honors Program students are urged to consult with the Public Administration Program Director as early as possible for advice in planning their program prerequisites as well as acceptance into the Honors Program in Public Administration.
Minimum Credits For the Degree. 120 credits
