The Bachelor of Science in Economics is intended to provide a more rigorous option for students interested in graduate school, given the quantitative nature of graduate study and the profession in general.
Twelve additional credits in social science outside economics and/or mathematics. The social science courses may include one introductory course; additional courses must be numbered 300 or above. The other mathematics courses must be beyond the level of MTH 122; MTH 272 cannot be used to satisfy this requirement. Mathematics courses should be selected with the approval of the advisor.
