Requirements
At least 124 credits, as follows.
A. General Education and Prerequisite Requirements
The mathematics requirement and ENG 112 or EHS 120 should be completed prior to other courses. A course in medical terminology is strongly recommended.
First Year Experience
Students entering the university with fewer than 25 transfer credit hours must fulfill the FYE requirement within the first academic year.
Global Studies
Three credits selected by student; recommended:
Fine Arts
Three credits selected by student.
Mathematics/Finance and Quantitative Literacy
Three credits satisfied by major requirements.
Natural Sciences
Four credits N/NL, selected by student.
Capstone
Three credits satisfied by major requirements.
B. Health Administration Foundation (25 credits)
C. Public Health Foundation (13 credits)
D. Functional Areas of Health Administration (18 credits)
E. Managing Diversity (3 credits)
F. Electives in Health Care (6 credits)
Two from:
G. Capstone/Internship (3-6 credits)
A minimum grade of B- (2.7) in one from:
H. Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 30 major credits in residency
- Completion of Program Key Concepts Test for assessment purposes
