This program is designed for the student who wants to pursue a career or graduate study in mathematics or a related field. The program prepares students with the core material found required for most mathematically-oriented fields of study, and then offers flexible learning opportunities that can be tailored to a student’s passions. Mathematics faculty and advisors can suggest electives and course selections to prepare students for graduate school, to apply mathematics in business or industry, or to prepare for a career in finance, data science, consulting, or any number of other domains.
All bachelor-degree-seeking students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to the University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program . Please contact the Honors Program Manager or the Honors Program Director for further information.
