Women’s and Gender Studies Minor


The WGS minor is for students interested in scholarship, creative activities, and activism focusing on women, gender, and/or sexuality as each of these connects with race, age, ability, class, nationality or more. Students who minor in WGS develop understanding of the theoretical and methodological contributions of this interdisciplinary field, and examine power, inequality, diversity, and change. The minor equips students with critical and analytical thinking, communication, reflection, and perspective taking skills that support success in any major, career, or form of community engagement.
