Post-Master’s Certificate in Organizational Leadership

This certificate program is intended primarily for individuals interested in learning more advanced concepts in organizational leadership after completion of an MBA or equivalent degree or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).  Students apply through the Office of Graduate Programs.

Courses in the program have prerequisites which must be completed, if not already taken as part of the prior MBA or equivalent degree or MSN or DNP.  At most one equivalent graduate-level course in which a grade of B (3.0) or better was earned may be transferred into the program.

The certificate may be earned in conjunction with a degree program or as a stand-alone credential.  (Students pursuing a stand-alone credential are not eligible for federal financial aid and may not participate in Commencement.)  After the student applies for graduation, the certificate is posted to the student’s official transcript and an official diploma stating the area of the certificate is issued.

The Graduate Programs Office serves as the primary source of information for all prospective graduate students, providing detailed guidance and resources to facilitate the application process.  Up-to-date and comprehensive details regarding admissions procedures, requirements and deadlines can be found on the program page on the Graduate Programs website.
