This BSE/MSE program is designed for undergraduate students interested in pursuing an MSE degree in Mechanical Engineering. The curriculum allows students to earn BSE and MSE degrees with potentially 16 fewer credits than if completing the degree programs separately.
The degrees are independent; each is awarded when completed, with specified courses accepted for the MSE degree after the BSE degree is awarded.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (120 credits)
All requirements of the Mechanical Engineering (BSE) or the Electrical Engineering (BSE) program, with the exception that the student elects 16 credits in AUE, EGR or MEE courses at the graduate level instead of at the undergraduate level, so the courses apply toward both BSE and MSE programs. Grades of B (3.0) or higher are required in these graduate courses. Master of Science in Engineering (32 credits)
All requirements of the Mechanical Engineering (MSE) program. Minimum Credits for Both Degrees: 144 credits |
