Requirements.
- All requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Bachelor of Science degree, including General Education Requirements .
- MTH 121 , MTH 122 , MTH 220 , MTH 370 ; CSC 230 / CIS 230 / MTH 230 (17 credits).
- PHY 143 , PHY 145 (8 credits).
- Foundations of programming: CSC 175 and CSC 275 (recommended) or CSC 276 (8 credits).
- CSC 265 , CSC 266 , CSC 277 , CSC 335 , CSC 365 , CSC 375 , CSC 377 , CSC 382 (22 credits).
- Grades of C (2.0) or better in at least four from: CSC 335 , CSC 355 , CSC 365 , CSC 375 , CSC 377 , CSC 382 .
- One of the following track options (27 credits).
Software Engineering Track.
CSC 381 , CSC 383 , CSC 384 , CSC 483 ; 15 additional credits in computer science in courses numbered 300 or above, excluding CSC 395 , CSC 491 .
Systems/Networking Track.
CSC 336 , CSC 381 , CSC 384 , CSC 436 ;
Choose three of the following: CSC 315 , CSC 363 , CSC 387 , CSC 425 , CSC 477 , CSC 478 ;
6 additional credits in computer science in courses numbered 300 or above, excluding CSC 395 , CSC 491 .
Game Development Track.
CSC 350 , CSC 355 , CSC 446 , CSC 455 ; ART 252 , ART 346 , ART 347 ; 6 additional credits in computer science in courses numbered 300 or above, excluding CSC 395 , CSC 491 . Note: To satisfy prerequisite requirements, students must also take ART 113 /COM 113 and ART 152 /COM 152 .
