Computer Information Systems Program (BS)

Requirements.

1. All requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Bachelor of Science  degree, including General Education Requirements .
2. Mathematics (7 credits). MTH 111 , MTH 118 .
3. Foundations of programming (8 credits). CIS 175 , CIS 275  or CIS 276  (recommended).
4. Computer information systems (26 credits).  CIS 127 , CIS 151 , CIS 152 , CIS 263 , CIS 314 , CIS 335 , CIS 365 , CSC 382 , CIS 384 , CIS 410 .
5. Electives (9 credits).  From CIS/CSC courses numbered 300 or higher.
6. Track option (39 credits).  One of the following:
   Business Information Systems Track
   1.   ECN 201 , ECN 202  (6 cr.)
   2.   BUS 201 , BUS 202 , BUS 211 , BUS 313 , BUS 371 ; one from: BUS 330 , BUS 341 , BUS 361 , BUS 381 , EGR 310  (18 cr.) 
   3.   CIS 170 , CIS 173 ; CIS 315  or CIS 363  (9 cr.)
   4.   CSC 383 , CIS 420  (6 cr.)
   Web and Mobile Information Systems Track
   1.   SOC 364 , BUS 340  (6 cr.)
   2.   COM 170 , ART 252 /THE 252 , ART 141 , ART 347 , ART 376  (15 cr.)
   3.   CIS 173 , CIS 310 , CIS 363 , CIS 425  (12 cr.)
   4.   CIS 479 , three additional credits in CIS/CSC courses numbered 300 or higher (6 cr.)
