NUR 597 - Nursing Research/Theory III

NUR 597 is a continuation of the steps in the research process that includes emphasis on nursing science as a foundation for integrating nursing theory, practice, and research. The course builds on a basic statistics prerequisite and provides an introduction of strategies involved in data analysis, including statistical procedures and interpretation of data for nursing research. Students will apply knowledge of selected descriptive, parametric, and non-parametric approaches to data analysis. Emphasis will be on interpretation of statistical results and on evaluation of published research and its applicability to clinical practice. Computers will be used for introduction to data analysis.Graded ABCDE/Y
