Introduction to technical knowledge and skills required to effectively perform basic emergency medical care, traumatic injury, CPR and AED. Lectures and in-class hands-on practice of techniques. Successful completion of the course results in certification in Heartsaver CPR/AED Adult, Child and Infant Heartsaver, First Aid Blood Borne Pathogens. Not open to students with credit for HCR 119 . Graded ABCDE.
