Private instruction in music composition. Weekly one-hour lessons (14 total) in techniques in the creation of music through analysis, student projects, and listening assignments. Students must attend weekly performance class meetings, and present a jury performance to a committee of music faculty. Spring/Summer students have other requirements. May be reelected for credit. Graded ABCDE.
