Matrix definition, algebraic operations, properties, determinants; problem solving with matrices including inverses and powers. Linear transformations, kernels and subspaces, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, singular value decomposition, PCS algorithm. Not open to students with credit for MTH 220. Graded ABCDE
