Exercise Science

The Exercise Science program prepares you for immediate employment or professional graduate programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, athletic training, and kinesiology.

Earn the skills necessary for the Exercise Physiologist exam through the American College of Sports Medicine and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist exam through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. By learning skills in biomechanics and exercise sports, exercise physiology, psychological factors related to exercise, nutrition, motor control, and public health, you will be prepared to develop exercise programs to improve patients’ health and help people recover from injury and disease working as a cardiac rehabilitation therapist, wellness coach, fitness center manager, personal trainer, and more.
