Prerequisites. (57 credits).

  2. MTH 121 , MTH 122 , MTH 220 , MTH 222 , MTH 305  (18 cr.).
  3. CSC 175  / CIS 175  (4 cr.).
  4. CHM 260 , CHM 261 , CHM 262  (7 cr.).
  5. PHY 243 , PHY 245  (10 cr.).
  6. EGR 102 , EGR 165 , EGR 230 , EGR 260 , EGR 280  (15 cr.).

Requirements. (48 credits).

  1. Admission to the Mechanical Engineering program (typically in the junior year).
  2. Core courses (21 credits).
    EGR 310 EGR 315 , EGR 330 , EGR 350 , EGR 353 , EGR 370 , EGR 466 .
  3. Laboratory courses (3 credits).
    Three from: EGR 281 , EGR 322 , EGR 335 , EGR 355 , EGR 433 .
  4. Elective courses (24 credits).
    Additional EGR courses at the 200-level or higher, not already listed as a program prerequisites or requirements core or laboratory course.
  5. Grades of C (2.0) or better in at least five of the seven core courses.
  6. A cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better.
  7. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) license examination (typically taken during the final term before graduation).
  8. All requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)  Bachelor of Science degree, including general education requirements, for a total of at least 129 credits.
