or, if equivalent proficiency is demonstrated by placement exam
At least 8 credits in courses selected with in consultation with departmental advisor
One from:
FRN 205 - Reading French (1).
FRN 206 - French Conversation (1).

B. Francophone Cultures (3 credits)

FFS 305 - Francophone Cultures of the World (3)

C. Electives (6 credits)

Two from:

FFS 300 - Topics in French and Francophone Literatures and Cultures (3)
FFS 301 - Paris in Literature, Art and Film (3).
FFS 302 - Montreal in Literature, Art and Film (3).
FFS 303 - America and Americans seen through French-Speaking Eyes (3).
FFS 304 - Francophone Literature and Culture of the Arab World (3)
FRN 329 - 20th Century Literature in Translation (3)
A Francophone study abroad course (up to 3 credits) approved by a French advisor.
