A. Discipline of Emphasis

At least 21 credits in one discipline from:

PSY 300 - Preparing for Careers in Psychology (3).
Four from:
PSY 309 - Abnormal Psychology (3)
PSY 313 - Developmental Psychology (3)
PSY 315 - Survey of Social Psychology (3)
PSY 316 - Biological Psychology (3)
PSY 317 - Cognitive Psychology (3)

Geography (21-22 credits)

ESS 285 - Environmental Hazards and Natural Disasters (3)
ESS 312 - Resource Planning and Management (3).
URP 111 - Introduction to Urban Geography and Planning (3)
URP 115 - World Regional Geography (3)
URP 116 - Human Geography (3)
URP 216 - Geography for Educators (3)
One from:
GEO 271 - Introduction to Geospatial Technology and its Applications (3).

Anthropology, Economics, History, Political Science or Sociology (21 credits)

SST 301 - Social Studies Capstone Seminar (3)
A capstone course in the discipline of emphasis

D. Additional Requirements

A grade point average of 2.0 or better within the concentration, based on the 42 required credits in social sciences.
All requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Bachelor of Arts degree, including General Education requirements and additional BA distribution requirements.

Minimum Credits for the Degree: 120 credits
