Chemistry and Biochemistry (CMB) information
Green chemistry prepares students for the pressing challenges facing chemistry professionals today and well into the future. This program is designed to achieve two goals. First, the coursework ensures that all graduates will be well-trained chemists, which is evidenced by the program being certified by the American Chemical Society. Our students will be positioned to begin their career in industry or pursue an advanced degree in the chemical sciences. Second, this program ensures students can understand the personal, environmental, and economic impacts of chemistry. They will be prepared to find innovative solutions to the global problems facing industry and the chemical sciences.

Honors Program
All bachelor-degree-seeking students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to the University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program. Please contact the Honors Program Manager or the Honors Program Director for further information.
