Data Analytics and Interpretation Certificate

The Data Analysis and Interpretation certificate program includes courses in database management, statistics, programming, and data visualization. Students in the program learn to combine these tools to collect, analyze and present data. Offered fully online in seven week semesters, this certificate is only available to students pursuing the Accelerated Online Degree Completion Pathway of the Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) program.
After the student applies for graduation, the certificate is posted to the student’s official transcript and an official diploma stating the area of the certificate is issued.

Requirements
A minimum grade of C (2.0) is required in each course.
Additional Requirements
A minimum of 9 credits in the program must be completed at UM-Flint.
Coursework older than 3 years must be reviewed by the Behavioral Sciences Department for content alignment with current certificate requirements.
