International & Global Studies Certificate

The International and Global Studies certificate program is designed to provide students a framework in international relations and global trends. Open to students of all majors, the interdisciplinary program provides a global perspective of human events and behavior and enables students to appreciate the cultural diversity of the world, to discern global patterns and processes, and to understand the impact of these processes on particular regions.

The certificate may be earned in conjunction with a degree program or as a stand-alone credential.  (Students pursuing a stand-alone credential are not eligible for federal financial aid and may not participate in Commencement.)  After the student applies for graduation, the certificate is posted to the student’s official transcript and an official diploma stating the area of the certificate is issued.
