Health Information Technology Program (BS)

The BS program in Health Information Technology prepares students to apply their knowledge and skills in the healthcare system to enhance people’s quality of care and quality of life. The program uses the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) instructional framework to prepare students and alumni to meet standards and to acquire knowledge and skills to address the needs of the healthcare system and the market in light of government guidelines and regulations.

Minimum Credits for the Degree: 124 credits

Honors Program


All bachelor-degree-seeking students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to the University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program.  Please contact the Honors Program Manager or the Honors Program Director for further information.
