Examination of literary topics of special interest that may cross historical periods, genre distinctions and disciplines. Depending on the topic, instruction in special research methods may be offered. Because students should have some prior experience analyzing literary texts, the course provides opportunities for developing unique research or creative projects. Graded ABCDE Offered infrequently.
