Seminar introducing social studies to teacher candidates and social sciences to all students. Develops critical thinking skills through exploration of different types of sources of knowledge and information; explores multiple perspectives within and among disciplines. Global or U.S. focus, or focus on the U.S. with ties to global context. Possible topics include global environment, immigration and refugees, human rights, global economy, war and peace. Graded ABCDE
