Photographic printmaking encompasses a broad range of underlying knowledge combined with historic and new techniques as tools for expression. The minor fosters students to become fluent in both physical and electronic photographic techniques and printmaking media. Specific attention is directed to the physicality of the image as an object while expanding the possibilities and allowing versatility in a wide range of learned skills, including silkscreen, lithography, digital printmaking, and darkroom print processing.
