Investigation of painting media and various techniques and processes. Emphasis on development of a body of imagery derived from a variety of methods. Students create a series of paintings in water-based paint, acrylic, and oils, acquiring a working knowledge of each medium’s properties, with emphasis on color, form, and development of style. May be reelected to a total of 9 credits. Graded ABCDE/Y
