Practical aspects of astronomy emphasizing advanced observational practices such as identification of astronomical objects using charts and references, telescopes, imaging/spectroscopic acquisition and processing techniques, data mining, basics of photon detection, and computer applications.  Pending data, measurement of the HR diagram of a star cluster using the calibrated camera and filters.
