CSC 179 - Problem Solving and Programming I in Python


Grade of C (2.0) or better in CSC 122  or CIS 170  or CIS 173 ; or consent of instructor. (4)

Introduction to problem-solving and programming principles appropriate for scientific and technical applications. Development of step-wise refinement and program decomposition methods. Programming language concepts including iteration, selection, input-output protocols, arrays, structures and subprograms.  Taught using the Python programming language. Graded ABCDE
