Sociology General and Honors Programs (BA)


Requirements


B. Electives


Fifteen additional credits in sociology.

C. Cognate Courses


Nine credits in upper division courses, to be chosen in consultation with the advisor, from the cognate fields of anthropology, criminal justice, economics, history, political science, psychology, and/or social work.

D. Additional Requirements


All requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)  Bachelor of Arts degree, including General Education  and additional BA distribution requirements .

Minimum Credits for the Degree: 120 credits

Honors Program Requirements


Prospective Honors Program students are required to complete all of the above Sociology requirements and University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program  requirements.     

Honors Program students are urged to acquaint themselves as early as possible with the requirements above as well as with the particular procedures for acceptance into the Sociology Honors Program. See the Sociology Honors Advisor or the Honors Program Director for this information.
