The joint program in Social Sciences is designed to introduce the student to the study of people and their economic, social and political institutions. These are approached through the data, theories and methods that characterize the disciplines of geography, history, political science, psychology and sociology. Intensive work in three of these disciplines gives the student a broad view of the social sciences as a whole while allowing for preparation in areas of special interest.
